Durability, Display, and Design

The Moto Edge is a beautiful smartphone and comes in solar black or midnight magenta. Both colors have a finish that looks like hand-blown glass.

The Edge measures 6.36 by 2.80 by 0.37 inches (HWD) and is nearly the same size as the Motorola Edge+. The device feels good when you hold it in the hand at 6.63 ounces

The phone has a 6.7-inch OLED display with 90-degree curved edges and the resolution is 2,340 by 1,080 with a density of 385 pixels per inch.

The display is nice with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a 90Hz. The display is bright, smooth, and comes with a wide color gamut for your color accuracy.

The in-display fingerprint sensor is solid and hardly fails. On the back panel are flash sensors and four circular cameras, with a monochromatic Motorola logo at the top centre.

On the top edge is a SIM card slot and on the bottom are a speaker, USB-C charging port, and a headphone jack.

On the left side of Motorola, Moto Edge is bare while the right side comes with a volume rocker and textured power button.

The Motorola Moto Edge makes use of Gorilla Glass 5 with a plastic back that remains unscathed. The phone stays safe when it comes to splashes but lacks an IP rating.

The device supports dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.1.

Motorola Moto Edge Cameras

The Motorola Moto Edge comes with a triple-camera stack and a time of flight sensor. Its primary lens features a 64MP with an f/1.8 aperture.

The quad-pixel binning supports a crisp 16MP shot and has an 8MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 aperture and 2x optical zoom, macro lens with an f/2.2 aperture, and 16MP ultra-wide.

The daylight photos are solid with exceptional color accuracy, excellent color, and depth of field.

The telephoto lens may be a little disappointing, including its low-light performance.

Specs and Performance

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 chipset and has 6GB of RAM. It has a storage 256GB (240GB is available out of the box).

It can handle additional storage of up to 1TB with a microSD card.
