REDESIGNED LAYOUT: While the form factor is still the same, the layout has changed so Raspberry Pi 4 Model B will need a new case. The processor is built on newer 28nm technology but the cores use more power on startup (1A) while peak power (1.5A) is slightly lower than before.

ANODIZED HEATSINKS FOR LONG LASTING PERFORMANCE: With our exclusive heatsink set in non-enclosed passive cooling condition, the Pi 4 can operate at maximum performance for five time longer than without heatsinks or about twice as long as lower profile competitive heatsinks.

ASSEMBLY WARNING: Only the main SoC and PCI-E USB bridge disipate enough heat to warrant a heatsink. The LPDDR4 RAM, Ethernet PHY, and WiFi/BT module should not have heatsinks! Putting heatsinks on them poses short-circuit risk and decreases wireless signal quality. Do not use metal cases if you plan to use WiFi or Bluetooth!

IMPORTANT CHANGES: Instead of MicroUSB, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B uses USB Type C for power. You can use a MicroUSB to USB Type C adapter if you have a high quality true 2.5A power supply. The HDMI ports are the MicroHDMI variant and not the MiniHDMI variant found on the Raspberry Pi Zero.
