This Privacy Policy explains how Burnpedia (“Burnpedia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit burnpedia.com or use the Burnpedia Pinterest scheduling and analytics service (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account details such as your name, email address, and password (passwords are stored only in hashed form).
- Billing information processed by our payment provider (we do not store full card numbers).
- Content you upload to schedule, including images, Pin titles, descriptions, destination links, and board selections.
- Messages you send us through support or contact forms.
Information from Pinterest
When you connect your Pinterest account, you authorize us through Pinterest’s official OAuth flow. We never see or store your Pinterest password. With your permission, we access only the data needed to provide the Service, which may include:
- Your Pinterest profile information (username, account type, and profile image).
- Your boards and Pins, so you can schedule and organize content.
- Pin and account analytics (impressions, saves, clicks, and outbound traffic) to power your reports.
Our use of information received from the Pinterest API adheres to the Pinterest Developer Guidelines and Platform Terms. We request the minimum scopes required and only act on your behalf at your direction. Burnpedia uses the Pinterest API but is an independent product — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. “Pinterest” and related marks are the property of Pinterest, Inc.

We do not sell, rent, resell, or redistribute your personal information, or any Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data, to third parties. We do not use Pinterest data for advertising. Pinterest data is used solely to provide the Service to the account it belongs to, and only shared as described in this policy.
3. How we share information
We share information only in these limited circumstances:

- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message.
- Depending on your location (e.g., the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights such as data portability or the right to object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected].
6. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and continually improve our practices.
7. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Children’s privacy
