CONTEMPORARY SERIES – The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 DC DN Contemporary is a prime with a large aperture of F/1.4 designed for APS-C Mirrorless cameras including Sony E mount. The Contemporary line is part of Sigma Global Vision and is the perfect blend of image quality and compact size. The large aperture is ideal for creating depth of field and its small size makes it highly portable. Every Global Vision Lens is handcrafted and inspected at our single factory in Aizu Japan.

LOW LIGHT – The Sigma 30mm f/1.4 lens is a unique wide-angle prime designed to produce high-resolution, well-corrected imagery. Its 1.4 F stop can take indoor and low-light outdoor shooting. Its larger f stop makes this lens especially well-suited to astrophotography.

OPTICS – The 30mm incorporates both (FLD) glass and Low Dispersion (SLD) glass in a 9 elements – 8 group. There is one aspherical elements to significantly reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations. A Super Multi-Layer Coating has also been applied to minimize surface reflections, flare, and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy. The combination of advanced optics and optimized lens power distribution minimizes spherical aberration, axial chromatic aberration.
