In 2018, the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid was a game among crossover hybrids. However, the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid did not come alone.
It has more competition that has given it a run for every of its feature, especially the Honda CR-V.
Luckily, for the Toyota model, its 2019 model came with a complete redesign with more attractive exterior, more power, a high-quality interior, and better fuel efficiency.
It has the coveted Apple CarPlay. For the 2020 model, it added the Android Auto to keep it ahead of the others.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid has a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine that was paired with an electric motor. It has a motor powering its rear wheels’ loss of traction.
It does this through a continuously variable automatic transmission. The car operates with an EPA-estimated fuel economy and 219 horsepower.
The car’s gas engine charges this RAV4 lithium-ion hybrid battery, and this is achieved through a regenerative braking.
The Base LE Trim
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE trim has exterior fitted with LED headlights, daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, LED taillights, roof fails, power and folding outside mirrors.
In addition, it has a keyless entry and intermittent windshield wipers.
Some of its standard interior features include a manual six-way adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, power windows and doors fabric-trimmed seats.
Other interior features include four-way front-passenger seat, a tilt/telescopic steering wheel with audio controls, 60/40-split folding rear seats with adjustable recline, and a rearview camera.
The standard tech has a six-speaker audio system with AM/FM HD Radio and SiriusXM satellite radio, Amazon Alexa compatibility, voice recognition, 7-inch touch screen, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The USB media port, Bluetooth for hands-free phone calls and music streaming, a one-year trial of Toyota Connected Services are what comes with the 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid LE trim.
The Toyota Connected Services has a 2GB of in-cabin Wi-Fi, telematics services, and remote access.
All the RAV4 Hybrids come with the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of driver assists and includes pedestrian detection, and lane-departure alert with lane-keeping assist.
In addition, they have a road sign detection, adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, auto high beams, and hill-start assist.
The XLE Trim.
The XLE trim comes with LED accent lighting, chrome headlight bezels, fog lights, color-keyed and heated outside mirrors.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid mirrors are integrated with blind spot and turn signal indicators, variable speed intermittent wipers, and remote illuminated entry.
The XLE trim also features the blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, automatic headlights, push-button start, and an eight-way power driver seat with lumbar support.
A sunroof, upgraded fabric upholstery, four additional USB charging ports, and two in the rear seats complete car.
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XSE Trim.
The XSE adds a sport-tuned suspension, 18-inch black-painted wheels, two-tone exterior paint, an 8-inch touch screen, and a power liftgate.
Next, it is equipped with dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, simulated-leather upholstery, upgraded interior trim, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Riders enjoy its auto-dimming rearview mirror, dynamic guidelines for the rearview camera, and interior ambient lighting.
The Limited Trim
The 2020 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid flagship Limited trim has heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, 18-inch chrome wheels, parking sensors and automatic rear cross-traffic braking, puddle lights.
It has navigation, a heated outboard rear passenger seats, deicing wipers, and two-position memory for the driver seat.
